About Us.

The Zero Trust Special Interest Group is a citizen-led, voluntary organisation, established to promote the adoption of digital risk reduction methodologies and technologies which address common cybersecurity challenges.

The ZTSIG was established in April of 2023, in response to the increasing complexity and frequency of cybersecurity attacks in the wake of the war in Ukraine, particularly upon UK institutions and their critical infrastructure. Equally the “pay to play” nature of many cybersecurity conferences was seen to be slowing the adoption of innovative solutions. As such, The Zero Trust SIG was established as a non-commercial forum to convene senior technology leaders, innovation directors and facilitators working across cybersecurity for Government, Public Safety, Critical National Infrastructure & Defence.

The ZT SIG, aims to provide a forum for academics, senior IT practitioners and technology innovators, to present mature information security technologies, direct to end users with the goal of accelerating the adoption of solutions with the greatest risk-reduction potential, into real world use. .
