ZTSIG welcomes Sian John MBE to its Industry Advisory Board

Sian John, CTO NCC Group joins ZTSIG advisory board.

On behalf of the Zero Trust Special Interest Group’s Industry Advisory Board, Exec Chairman, Cameron Bell notes he is delighted with this appointment: “Sian is a such a well-respected and renowned figure in the UK Cybersecurity scene, we are incredibly lucky to have her involvement in the ZTSIG Advisory Board. Along with the board, I am confident Sian will be an excellent arbiter of which innovative ideas should be presented at our conferences”.

As Chief Technology Officer at NCC Group, Sian is responsible for intelligence, insight, and innovation within the company. Sian has been a recognised leader in UK Cybersecurity for over 25 years across strategy, business risk, privacy, and technology and was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2018 New Year’s Honours List for services to Cybersecurity. She is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Information Security, Chair of the techUK Cybersecurity committee, and a council member for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Council (EPSRC). Sian will join Chairman, David Lacey, Professor Bill Buchannan and Edmund Sutcliffe as ZTSIG IAB Members.
